The 2nd installment of the big screen adaptation of the longest-running drama anthology in tv is on the works! Maalaala Mo Kaya the movie 2 also known as “MMK Movie 2” will star two of the brightest stars in the primetime tv – Angel Locsin and Bea Alonzo.In celebration of the 20th anniversary of Maalaala Mo Kaya, Star Cinema will present the biggest drama movie of the year.
The first MMK movie was shown in 1994 starring Aiko Melendez, Richard Gomez and Chin Chin Gutierrez under the direction of Olivia Lamasan.After 17 years, finally another touching true to life story is going to be presented in the silver screen.The new Maalaala Mo Kaya movie is to be directed by Laurenti Dyogi.Coming this September 2011!
