KimXi fans! Your dreams are coming true. Xian Lim has revealed that he and Kim Chiu are taking their love team to the next level with their first movie coming very soon.

“I’m doing a movie with Kim and it’s gonna be out soon so dapat abangan nila iyan. Really exciting so sana abangan nila,” he told ABS-CBN News.

Xian Lim, however, did not divulge any details about the project. “Right now, everything is still a work on progress so wala pa akong details. But it’s a romantic-comedy, that’s all I can say,” he said.

This is going to be Xian Lim’s 4th movie and 3rd mainstream film with Mamarazzi being the first where he played Oscar – a gay lover of Aaron Villaflor’s character and The Reunion being the last where he played Joax, the opposite of Toyang (Megan Young). This is Xian’s first big screen team up with Kim Chiu. So the film is not only set to prove their box office worth but will launch them as a new movie love team.

Ever since Kim Chiu’s career skyrocketed to stardom, she was mostly paired with only but one leading man in the big screen and it is none other than Gerald Anderson. They both teamed up for First Day High, I’ve Fallen for You, Shake Rattle and Roll X: Class Picture Segment, Paano Na Kaya, Till My Heartaches End and most recently 24/7 in Love. There were only two movies where Kim Chiu starred and Gerald didn’t and they are ‘I Love You, Goodbye’ and ‘The Healing’.

Gerald Anderson has two movies without Kim Chiu and they are ‘Won’t Last A Day Without You’ and ‘Catch Me…I’m In Love’ where he established a love team with the incoming Box Office Superstar Sarah Geronimo. And that’s what Kim Chiu wasn’t able to do! Her two non-Kimerald movies didn’t establish her a new love team.

But with a Xian Lim and Kim Chiu movie in the works the world will be on balance again. Chos!
