My Lady Boss Release Pushed to A Later Date
My Lady Boss Release Pushed to A Later DateApr 11
GMA Films wanted to play safe even if it means being a milksop to the inevitable box office comparison of their film ‘My Lady Boss’ to Star Cinema and Viva Fims’ It Takes A Man and A Woman. About three days ago, GMA Films released an advisory regarding the screening of My Lady Boss which was first reported to be released on April 10, 2013. My Lady Boss is one of the highly anticipated movies of the year because it will reunite Richard Gutierrez and Marian Rivera. But apparently, we need to wait a little while longer to be able to watch this film.
The concept is quite appealing but the trailer they first released didn’t get us excited at all. The trailer, however, strays away from the usual trailer format of Filipino romantic comedy films. At some point, it feels kinda indie. But well, Marian and Richard did skydiving here so this must have been ‘very’ expensive to make. Anyway, this news is better than it being pulled out. So let’s be patient! Watch out for the final date announcement this Monday!
In this anticipated film, Richard plays Zach, a rich spoiled kid who needs a job to prove himself to his family. Marian plays Evelyn, Zach’s hard-shelled boss who will be search engines the bane of his existence. Things get complicated when an office romance develops between the unlikely pair. My Lady Boss is also starring Tom Rodriguez, Ruru Madrid, Ruru Madrid, Dion Ignacio, Sandy Andolong, Maricel Laxa, Betong and Rocco Nacino in a kontrabida role.
