ON THE JOB Movie First Official Teaser

Apr 02

Netizens are in for a great surprise with the teaser of Star Cinema’s upcoming action film On The Job movie. With Star Cinema’s record of making only run-of-the-mill box office movies, everyone had their jaws dropped for the entire 1:24 minutes of On The Job trailer. Everyone, meet the makers of generally acclaimed films ‘Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicles‘ and ‘Rigodon‘, Reality Entertainment.

Apparently, they have partnered with Star Cinema to make this awesome movie possible. Yes! It may still be a long while before OTJ hits the screen and I may be having mixed emotions but the upbeat score, dark and gritty feel and the sexy Shaina Magdayao may now be enough to claim this film is awesome. And that’s only partly because of Star Cinema. Okay fine! This won’t be possible without them. But they better come up with another awesome movie after this.

Anyway, you should watch out for the films of this new Philippine motion picture company, Reality Entertainment!

So about the teaser? For starter, it looks really slick. From the block title card, the Pulp Fiction-esque score, the stylish visuals which reminds me of any dark Korean crime action film and shit! Is Gerald Anderson a sex-crazed addict in this movie? I know he’s going to be a hitman under the lead of Joel Torre’s character. Piolo on the other hand is an NBI agent who screams like it’s his first time to see a dead person. Seriously? “May patay. . May patay.”

Reality Entertainment and Star Cinema presents a different type of pinoy style crime-drama which brings to the big screen a stellar cast led by Piolo Pascual, Gerald Anderson, Joel Torre, Joey Marquez, Shaina Magdayao and Angel Aquino. Coming Soon. Directed by Erik Matti.
